My name is Boryana Dimitrova. I hold a PhD in Marketing from Drexel University, Philadelphia and am now an Associate Clinical Professor of Marketing at LeBow College of Business, Drexel University. I am also a very busy mom of three, an immigrant from Bulgaria, and an avid yoga practitioner.
After having my kids, I was inspired to learn in more depth about brands that were doing it all right - from their purpose through their products, their sustainability efforts, and the way they treat their customers and employees. I decided that, after all the years I have spent researching and teaching marketing, I want to help purpose-driven wellness entrepreneurs thrive and propel them forward, similarly to the brands that inspired the desire to start my business.
The name Black Sea in my business isn’t random and isn’t just a brand. It’s where my mom’s family is from - a city on the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria. Where my sister and I spent our summers. Where my best childhood friend lived. For me, the Black Sea means family, friends, childhood, freedom, home-cooked meals, peace, and nature. Those words aren’t just memories…they’re the backbone of my business. They’re the reason behind everything I do. At the end of the month, you’ll have the option to continue with another one-month intensive or transition into a six-month program for deeper, long-term growth.
