About Me
I hold a PhD in Marketing from Drexel University and am an Associate Clinical Professor at the LeBow College of Business. I have been featured three times in the Drexel News blog, where I shared expert insights on the 2023 Super Bowl ads, the #Cancel Kellogs campaign, and AI use in 2026 Super Bowl ads. I have also appeared on The End in Mind podcast and contributed to Green Philly and the Mango Marketing Co. blog.
I’m also a mom of three, an immigrant from Bulgaria, and a dedicated yoga practitioner. After becoming a parent, I was inspired to study brands that truly align purpose, sustainability, and customer experience and to help wellness businesses do the same.
Black Sea is a personal name rooted in my childhood in Varna, Bulgaria. It represents family, connection, and a sense of home. These are values that guide my work and approach to marketing.

For example, we have just released a new condensate removal pump that is outfitted into our standard bottle-free coolers. Based on the teachings of the voice of the customer and what customers are looking for in new products, we made sure to prioritize function to enhance performance... As we put the voice of the service agents and customers first, we were able to understand where exactly the market gap lied and what the most effective way to fix it was.
